ICJC Young Professionals

For ages 21 – 37, ICJC Young Professionals is a group focused on providing access to Islam and the masjid for an audience that is often neglected.

ICJC Young Professionals hold regular events (such as Minds Brewed) to provide an opportunity for both learning and socializing as well as meeting new friends. 

If you are new to Johnson County, this is a great avenue to meet fellow muslims in the area.

  • When and where does Minds Brewed (MB) occur?
    Minds Brewed takes place the third Saturday of every month in the ICJC banquet hall.
  • What does an evening at MB look like?
    We usually begin with a social hour and coffee. Depending on when the next Salah comes in, we have our lecture followed by time for reflections.
    • Does it cost anything to attend
      Minds Brewed is totally free to attend thanks to ICJC! All we ask you to bring is good vibes, lots of duas, and your thinking caps! (And don’t forget to support your local Masjid)
      • Can anyone come to MB?
        Yes! Everyone is welcome to join, however the topics and discussions focus on common issues for the 21-37 year old age group.
        • If Imam is covering a book or series, do I need to have seen the previous lectures to understand the current one
          Nope! Each lecture is designed to be a stand alone topic. We go through a book or series to help guide our topics and discussions.
          • If I have a question, should I ask it in the group?
